About AI training work

AI training (also called data labeling or annotation) is the human work that teaches machine learning systems how to understand real-world inputs. Tasks include listening, transcribing, labeling, and judging model outputs.

The role

We're looking for Dutch speakers to perform speech annotation on short audio clips. This is an entry-level, contractor position open worldwide. The work focuses on two label types: classification and segmentation.

This is a project-based engagement paid as a fixed price of USD 400.26 for the assignment. You will be taught how to use our internal, proprietary annotation tool before you begin.

What you'll do

Follow detailed instructions to listen to audio clips, identify specified speech elements, and apply labels consistently. Create time-based segments where required and choose classification labels per the project guide.

• Listen to short Dutch audio clips and mark boundaries for speech segments.
• Assign classification labels to utterances (speaker type, intent, or other categories as specified).
• Follow annotation guidelines and quality checks to ensure consistency.
• Complete training on our internal annotation tool before starting active annotation.

Requirements

You do not need prior annotation experience; this project is entry-level and includes training on the internal tool. Candidates must be fluent in Dutch and able to follow written instructions carefully.

• Fluency in Dutch (native or near-native) is required.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow annotation guidelines.
• Reliable internet connection and a computer or phone capable of running browser-based tools; headphones recommended.
• Able to work as an independent contractor (remote, project-based).
