What You'll Do

• Transcribe video content in Dioula and English with high accuracy and fidelity to the original audio and speech.
• Add clear timestamps for transcribed segments so reviewers and model trainers can reference specific moments.
• Analyze speaker tone, intent, emotionality, and non-verbal nuance to inform model behavior.
• Review grammar, syntactic structure, and tone in both languages and document relevant observations.
• Explain word and expression meanings and usage to deepen model understanding of language and context.
• Collaborate with the project team to keep deliverables aligned with quality and linguistic standards.

Requirements

This role requires demonstrated fluency in Dioula and English and the ability to express language analysis clearly in writing.

• Fluency in Dioula and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in linguistics, translation, or transcription involving Dioula and English.
• Comfort evaluating emotional tone, intent, grammar, and linguistic nuance.
• Experience using transcription tools and adding careful timestamps or notes.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex language tasks with minimal supervision.

Helpful Background
