About AI training work
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building intelligent systems: people prepare, correct, and evaluate examples that models learn from. These roles are often remote, flexible, and accessible to language specialists—contributors directly shape how models understand and produce language.
The role
OpenTrain is recruiting for a Dioula Bilingual Transcription Reviewer to support multilingual video transcription and evaluation. You will work with video content that contains Dioula and English, verifying and correcting transcriptions, adding or checking timestamps, and rating model outputs against project rubrics.
- Employment type: Contractor, part-time.
- Work location: Fully remote; this listing is open worldwide.
- Data type: Video (transcription and evaluation tasks).
- (project-specific platform).
What you'll do
- Transcribe source video segments and/or review existing transcriptions for accuracy and completeness.
- Check and correct timestamps and speaker attributions where required.
- Compare model outputs to source material and apply project guidelines and rubrics.
- Provide concise written explanations for judgments so feedback improves future model behavior.
- Maintain consistency and high quality across repeated review tasks.
Requirements
- Fluency in Dioula and English (reading and written communication).
- Relevant professional, academic, or practical experience in multilingual transcription or language work.
- Strong written communication and careful attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed project instructions, apply rubrics consistently, and work independently as a remote contractor.
- Comfort working on video-based tasks and using a browser-based labeling interface.
Schedule and pay
This is a part-time contractor role that requires at least 15 hours per week and lists a time requirement of less than 20 hours/week. Work is remote and schedule-flexible within the project timeline.
- Pay: $15–$95 per hour (PAY_PER_HOUR, USD).
- Estimated project earnings shown on OpenTrain: $1,800–$11,400 depending on schedule and duration.
- Expected commitment: at least 15 hours/week; final hours and duration are specified on the project page.

- You will complete initial qualification tasks and follow a short onboarding process before beginning paid work.
- Provide clear, reproducible judgments in each task to help models improve and to qualify for more projects over time.
