Digital Imaging Specialist / Digital Artist

You will edit and annotate existing 2D and 3D images using detailed briefs, references, and project guidelines. The work focuses on creating polished visual assets that help AI systems learn from structured human expertise and clear feedback.

• Edit, retouch, composite, clean up, and modify digital images.
• Create visual variations while keeping style, composition, color, lighting, texture, and detail consistent.
• Recreate or improve textures, materials, objects, characters, and scenes.
• Apply detailed instructions and feedback accurately.
• Document workflows, style choices, and other required metadata.
• Deliver polished, consistent, production-ready outputs.
• Complete 2D image annotation and editing tasks.

What It Pays and Takes

Compensation details are provided in the project budget fields for this role. The position is listed as entry level, and previous AI training experience is not required.

• Remote contractor work with up to 40 hours per week.
• Part-time artists working 25 to 30 hours per week are welcome.
• Project length: 8 to 10 weeks.
• Open worldwide.
• Professional fluency in English.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a 2D or 3D artist or in a similar role.
• A strong portfolio showing stylized 2D and 3D work and material exploration.
• Ability to reproduce real-world materials and handcrafted textures convincingly.
• Strong understanding of form, silhouette, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with non-photorealistic rendering workflows.
• Knowledge of useful plug-ins and scripts for After Effects, 3ds Max, and Cinema 4D.
• Understanding of 3D modeling, topology, lighting, shading, and rendering.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
