About this role
OpenTrain is recruiting a DaVinci Resolve video data annotation editor to apply audiovisual post-production expertise to AI training work. You will use DaVinci Resolve to review video clips, evaluate footage characteristics, and create structured labels and comments that help improve how AI systems interpret video. The role combines practical editing and color-grading judgment with careful, consistent assessment of visual and technical attributes. This is a remote contractor opportunity paying $15‑$80 per hour.

What you will do
Perform video data annotation in DaVinci Resolve while following detailed project guidelines. Apply color correction and grading knowledge to evaluate footage characteristics. Review, label, and comment on video clips for structured AI training data. Assess audiovisual content for quality, clarity, and technical attributes. Document decision-making approaches and communicate feedback about annotation processes and tools. Follow project milestones and submission protocols while working remotely and independently.

Required skills
Hands-on experience using DaVinci Resolve in a post-production context. Practical proficiency in video editing, color correction, and color grading fundamentals. Understanding of digital video formats and relevant technical specifications. Strong written and verbal communication, with careful attention to annotation clarity and detail. Ability to stay organized, follow complex instructions, and respond constructively to feedback. Prior AI experience is not required; experience evaluating audiovisual content or working with structured labeling is helpful.
