About AI Training Work
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback) is the human side of building intelligent systems. Tasks range from writing and editing text used to train language models, to evaluating model outputs and building content examples.
This role supports energy-related model training by producing or reviewing text that helps models understand energy topics. Work tends to be remote, flexible, and accessible for people with strong written communication and attention to detail.
The Role
We are hiring an entry-level Content Writer on a contractor basis to support an energy-focused AI training task. The assignment is small and highly flexible: approximately 1 hour of work per month.
You will be responsible for initial setup of any required equipment and accounts, staying available for scheduled meetings on agreed times, and delivering clear, timely text contributions.
- Employment type: Contractor (remote, worldwide).
- Estimated commitment: ~1 hour per month (ad-hoc meetings as scheduled).
- Pay: Fixed price — USD 100 for the assignment as posted.
What You'll Do
Deliver short text content or reviews related to energy topics that will be used in AI training. Follow project guidelines and submit work through the specified tooling.
Complete any required equipment and account setup at the start of the engagement so you can work without delays, and attend scheduled meetings promptly and professionally.
- Work with text data and submit outputs through AWS SageMaker as required by the project.
- Adhere to project instructions, quality checks, and any turnaround times communicated by the project manager.
- List any cloud certifications you hold when you apply (see Requirements).
Requirements
This is an entry-level opportunity; prior professional writing experience is helpful but not mandatory. The project does request a timely, reliable attitude and the ability to set up equipment and accounts independently.
Applicants must provide any cloud-related certifications they hold as part of their application materials.
- Entry level — suitable for applicants new to AI training or content work.
- Ability to set up required equipment and accounts before starting.
- Reliable availability for scheduled meetings and timely responses.
- When applying, explicitly list any cloud certifications (for example: AWS, Azure, or GCP certificates).
Logistics & Tools
Data type: TEXT. The project lists label type: POLYGON and uses AWS_SAGEMAKER as the labeling platform; you will access and submit work through AWS SageMaker as instructed.
