The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a Computer Science and IT AI Quality Assurance Lead to support technical AI training quality workflows. You will review AI-generated explanations, code, troubleshooting guidance, system-design content, database guidance, networking answers, and security-related material.
This is an hourly remote contractor role supporting technical AI training quality workflows. The advertised rate is up to $20 per hour, with a time requirement of 20 or more hours per week. What You’ll Do
You will evaluate technical content and trainer or QA work against detailed project rubrics. Your reviews will cover conceptual correctness, code and systems reasoning, terminology, troubleshooting logic, security awareness, clarity, formatting, instruction following, and rubric compliance.
You will also help strengthen quality processes across remote technical teams by giving precise feedback, answering technical questions, supporting onboarding and training, and maintaining review documentation.
Identify misleading, insecure, outdated, incomplete, or technically unsafe recommendations
Assess technical reasoning and explanations for accuracy and clarity
Provide precise written feedback to trainers and QA contributors
Identify recurring quality issues and communicate guideline updates
Answer technical questions and support onboarding and training
Maintain style guides and quality documentation
Help improve review workflows across remote technical teams
Required Qualifications
You should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience, in computer science, information technology, software engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, data science, or a related technical field. At least three years of experience in a relevant technical or review-focused area is required.
Strong English communication, close attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics are essential for this position.
Bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent professional experience in a related technical field
At least three years of experience in software development, IT support, systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, technical education, technical writing, QA, or related technical-review work
Broad knowledge of programming, algorithms, data structures, operating systems, databases, networking, cloud basics, security, APIs, debugging, and troubleshooting
Ability to provide precise written feedback and support remote technical teams
Strong English communication skills and attention to detail
