The Role

OpenTrain AI is hiring a Competitive Programming Coder to help train next-generation AI systems by creating reinforcement learning environments for difficult coding problems. You will design custom problems, write reference solutions, build checkers that support multiple valid outputs, and validate participant submissions against complex competitive programming statements.

The work centers on advanced C++ implementation, careful edge-case analysis, and clear documentation. You will also review test cases, refine ambiguous requirements, and provide feedback that improves checker robustness and submission validation.

What You'll Do

You will contribute directly to the design and evaluation infrastructure used for challenging programming problems. Accuracy, maintainability, and consistency are essential because checker logic must correctly handle valid solutions, invalid outputs, and difficult edge cases.

• Design and implement checkers for competitive programming problems with multiple valid outputs
• Evaluate participant submissions against complex problem statements
• Create custom problems, reference solutions, and robust test suites
• Write clear, maintainable C++ code for output validation and edge cases
• Document checker logic and communicate technical nuances clearly
• Review test cases and identify weaknesses in edge-case coverage
• Refine ambiguous problem requirements

Requirements
