The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Clinical Data Management AI Evaluation Expert to lead clinical data generation and quality review across complete clinical data rooms. You will examine whether protocols, datasets, tables, listings, figures, narratives, and derived metrics work together accurately and remain traceable.

You will also create evaluation materials that measure an AI agent's ability to perform comparable clinical data management work. This is a remote, part-time contract role for experienced clinical data professionals.

What You'll Do

You will work across the complete clinical data room workflow, combining operational clinical data management judgment with structured AI evaluation. Your reviews must identify inconsistencies across files and determine whether synthetic clinical data reflects realistic, traceable work.

• Lead clinical data generation across the full data-room workflow.
• Reconcile protocols, datasets, tables, listings, figures, narratives, and derived metrics.
• Validate synthetic clinical data rooms for realism, internal consistency, and traceability.
• Perform cross-file checks so patient-level references and derived results remain accurate.
• Design prompts, golden outputs, and scoring rubrics for evaluating AI-agent performance.
• Assess generated clinical data work against applicable CDISC and SDTM conformance expectations.

Required Experience and Skills

This role requires substantial clinical data management experience and the ability to oversee complete clinical data rooms. Although the structured listing identifies the experience level as entry level, the role description requires at least five years of relevant experience, with 10 to 25 years preferred.

• Ability to translate expert review criteria into prompts, golden outputs, and rubrics
