The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Canva Design Task Specialist to create realistic and challenging design tasks based on practical scenarios in design, marketing, administration, sales, education, or content creation. You will prepare the required assets, complete and record each workflow on your computer, and document the task so another person can understand and reproduce it.
This is an hourly, part-time remote contractor opportunity for contributors in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. The role requires 20 or more hours per week and offers advertised rates of up to $15 per hour. The experience level is entry level, with hands-on Canva experience required.

What You'll Do
You will turn realistic use cases into complete, reviewable Canva workflows. Each submission should show a clear process, appropriate assets and references, and a finished result that meets the task's stated success criteria.
Create realistic Canva tasks involving social media graphics, presentations, flyers, posters, brand assets, templates, infographics, resumes, marketing graphics, image editing, layout changes, exports, and collaborative design
Prepare Canva access, files, images, brand details, and reference materials before recording each workflow
Record yourself completing each task on your computer in a clear, complete, and realistic way
Document the task context, goals, steps, inputs, assets, constraints, and success criteria
Demonstrate practical use of templates, text editing, layout adjustments, image placement, branding, presentations, social posts, flyers, infographics, exports, and sharing
Review recordings and documentation for completeness, clarity, realism, and alignment with project guidelines
Requirements
You should be comfortable planning and completing realistic Canva workflows independently. Strong preparation, clear English documentation, and careful quality checks are important because each task must be understandable, reproducible, and ready for review.
Hands-on Canva experience creating social media graphics, presentations, flyers, posters, templates, brand kits, infographics, or marketing designs
Strong understanding of Canva templates, elements, typography, images, layers, alignment, colors, spacing, brand kits, exports, and sharing
English proficiency at B2 level or higher for understanding instructions and documenting tasks clearly
Comfort using computers, browser-based tools, files, uploads, downloads, exports, and screen-recording workflows
Ability to plan challenging, well-scoped tasks with clear inputs, assets, constraints, and success criteria
Ability to explain design decisions and document a reproducible workflow in English
Strong attention to detail when checking task execution, documentation, recording quality, and export readiness
Reliable, self-directed work habits in an hourly remote contractor workflow across time zones
