About AI Training Work
AI training (also called data labeling or annotation) is the human side of building intelligent systems. Contributors prepare and review examples that teach models how to transcribe, speak, and understand language — work that is remote, flexible, and accessible to many skill levels.
- Work is 100% remote and often schedule-flexible.
- Tasks include transcription, recording audio, and rating or editing model outputs.
- Many projects need no prior experience; language fluency and attention to detail are commonly enough to start.
The Role
We are recruiting a Canadian French audio transcription and recording contractor to support an AI training project for OpenTrain. This part-time role combines transcription correction, audio recording, and linguistic quality feedback.
Expect to work 20+ hours per week as a contractor. Compensation is hourly, between $15 and $25 USD per hour depending on task and experience.
- Labeling tasks: transcription correction, audio recording, and evaluation/rating.
- Employment type: Contractor, Part-time.
- Project uses a third-party labeling tool (OTHER) provided by the client.
