The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Brazilian Portuguese Audio Transcript Editor to review and correct machine-generated audio transcripts for AI training. You will listen to spoken Portuguese recordings, compare them with existing transcripts, and ensure word-level accuracy, timestamps, timing alignment, and formatting meet detailed guidelines.

This is a fully remote contractor and part-time role for candidates working from the United States. The role offers flexible scheduling, with the position description indicating 10 to 40 hours per week and a structured commitment of 20 or more hours per week. Compensation is listed at $10 to $35 per hour.

What You'll Do

• Flag unclear audio, overlapping speakers, and other quality issues
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across high volumes of transcript data
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Requirements
