About AI training work
AI training (also called data labeling or human-feedback work) is the human side of building modern AI. Experts review, correct, and create examples—helping models learn how to reason about real-world business needs like positioning, differentiation, and go-to-market plans.
This work is remote and flexible, and it directly shapes how state-of-the-art AI systems behave in marketing and strategy contexts.
The role
OpenTrain is recruiting a Brand & Strategy AI Training Expert to evaluate AI-generated brand strategy outputs and produce gold-standard strategic content to improve model reasoning.
You will review positioning, messaging hierarchies, differentiation, competitive analysis, and GTM planning; create polished deliverables; rate and compare multiple model responses; and flag brand-risk, weak logic, and hallucinations.
What you'll do
Review AI-generated brand strategy, positioning, and go-to-market content for accuracy, clarity, and brand fit.
Create gold-standard strategic outputs such as positioning statements, messaging frameworks, briefs, and other deliverables.
Evaluate reasoning quality, prompt adherence, and strategic usefulness across multiple responses.
Identify issues in customer insight, segmentation, positioning logic, differentiation, and GTM planning.
Fact-check claims and test outputs for hallucinations, bias, and brand-risk concerns.
Rate and compare model responses using evaluation frameworks and produce clear feedback.
Requirements
This is an expert-level role. You must have at least 5+ years of professional experience in brand strategy, product marketing, strategy consulting, or integrated marketing strategy.
Minimum C1 English proficiency and strong attention to detail are required. Previous experience with AI data training, editorial QA, strategy ops, or content review workflows is strongly preferred.
5+ years in brand strategy, product marketing, strategy consulting, or integrated marketing strategy.
Strong positioning and messaging skills: value proposition, proof points, objections, narrative, and tone adaptation.
Experience turning research into customer insights, personas, JTBD, and segmentation.
Ability to evaluate briefs, messaging hierarchies, campaign concepts, creative strategy, and GTM plans.
Minimum C1 English proficiency and excellent attention to detail.
Preferred: prior experience with AI data training, editorial QA, or content review workflows.
Who should apply
Experienced brand strategists, product marketers, consultants, or strategy leads who enjoy writing structured strategic deliverables and critiquing reasoning should apply.
This role suits people who can translate research into clear positioning, spot weak logic or unsupported claims, and create model-quality reference outputs.
