The role
You will evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks in biology and environmental science, grading outputs against domain-specific quality rubrics and delivering clear, actionable written feedback.
This is a remote contractor role, expected to commit 20+ hours per week. Compensation is hourly at $80–$120 USD, depending on experience and assignment.

What you'll do
Bring domain expertise to assess accuracy, rigor, and presentation quality in AI-generated work products. Your evaluations will help improve model outputs and guide future annotations and training.
Review AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks in biology and environmental science.
Grade outputs against established, domain-specific quality rubrics.
Identify factual errors, methodological or domain inaccuracies, and presentation/aesthetic issues.
Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining issues and suggesting improvements.
Apply professional judgment to assess scientific rigor and clarity.
Requirements
Candidates must have substantial professional experience and the technical skills to evaluate written and presentation materials.
5+ years of professional experience in biology or environmental science (required).
Experience evaluating AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, or slide decks (required).
Native or professional fluency in English (required).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially PowerPoint or Google Slides.
Ability to judge accuracy, rigor, and presentation quality against formal rubrics.
Available for 20+ hours per week as a remote contractor.
Helpful qualifications

Advanced degree (master's or higher) in biology, environmental science, or a closely related field.
Prior experience producing formal evaluations or peer reviews of technical documents and presentations.
