The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Behavioral AI Training Analyst to contribute behavioral expertise to an AI training project. You will analyze text, audio, and video data, identify nuanced behavioral cues, and create detailed annotations that support the development of AI systems capable of understanding human behavior.

This is a remote contractor role available on a part-time or full-time basis, with a time requirement of 20 or more hours per week. Compensation ranges from $21 to $70 USD per hour.

What You’ll Do

You will apply behavioral observation and analysis skills to structured AI training tasks. Your work will help project teams capture subtle interpersonal signals and improve the quality, accuracy, and appropriateness of AI-generated responses.

• Analyze text, audio, and video data for behavioral cues such as tone, gesture, and speech patterns.
• Create detailed annotations and explanations that help AI models interpret nuanced human behavior.
• Develop scenario-based training materials based on real-world behavioral expertise.
• Collaborate with project leads to refine annotation guidelines and deliver high-quality work.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for behavioral accuracy and appropriateness.
• Document insights and best practices for interpreting complex interpersonal interactions.
• Contribute behavioral subject-matter expertise to ongoing process improvements.

Requirements

This role is suited to applicants with experience observing, interpreting, teaching, or coaching human behavior. Relevant backgrounds include behavioral therapy, counseling, theater, acting coaching, or a related field involving behavioral observation and analysis.

• Background in behavioral therapy, counseling, theater or acting coaching, or a related field
• Ability to identify subtle changes in tone, speech, body language, and gestures
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience creating training materials or facilitating skills development in others
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality and accuracy
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools
• Comfort working independently in a digital environment
• Enthusiasm for applying behavioral expertise to emerging AI technologies
