  • Pay of up to $25 per hour

About AI Training Work

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. People provide examples, recordings, documentation, and evaluations that help AI systems understand how real technical work is performed.

In this role, your AWS knowledge will help create structured demonstrations of cloud workflows. Clear, realistic, and reproducible examples can teach AI systems to interpret technical processes and follow expert guidance.

  • Contribute to cutting-edge AI development
  • Use professional expertise in practical training tasks
  • Work remotely with a flexible contractor schedule
  • Help transform real-world workflows into structured training data

The AWS Cloud Workflow Data Contributor Role

OpenTrain is recruiting an AWS Cloud Workflow Data Contributor to support AI training based on practical AWS expertise. You will create realistic AWS Console workflows, document their context and steps, and record the execution so AI systems can learn from structured human expertise and clear technical workflows.

This is listed as an entry-level opportunity, but hands-on knowledge of AWS cloud operations is the most important qualification. The work is suited to contributors who can independently prepare safe environments, navigate cloud services, and explain technical decisions clearly in English.

  • Create realistic, challenging computer-based tasks using AWS services
  • Record yourself navigating the AWS Console and completing workflows
  • Produce clear documentation that another person can understand and reproduce
  • Apply practical AWS operations knowledge to AI training data

What You’ll Do

You will prepare each workflow before recording by setting up access, permissions, test resources, sample files, and a safe environment. You will then document the task goal, context, resource details, steps, and expected outcomes in clear English.

Workflows may cover AWS setup, configuration, monitoring, storage, compute, permissions, deployment, administrative tasks, or troubleshooting. Before delivery, you will verify that the recording and documentation are complete, safe, understandable, realistic, reproducible, and aligned with project guidelines.

  • Work with IAM, including access control, least privilege, bucket security, and permission diagnosis
  • Use S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, security groups, regions, billing views, and resource configuration
  • Troubleshoot EC2 networking and connectivity, including security groups and instance roles
  • Create workflows involving S3 event notifications, CloudWatch logging, deployment validation, and rollback judgment
  • Use browsers, cloud consoles, documentation tools, terminals where needed, and screen-recording software
  • Review every submission for safety, clarity, completeness, and reproducibility

Required AWS Skills and Experience

You should have hands-on experience with AWS cloud setup, configuration, monitoring, storage, compute, permissions, deployment, or troubleshooting. You must be able to design practical cloud, DevOps, backend, infrastructure, administrative, or data workflows and explain them clearly in English.

Strong attention to detail, reliable delivery, self-direction, and consistent application of detailed instructions are essential. The role requires enough AWS familiarity to create realistic tasks rather than simply follow a prepared demonstration.

  • Hands-on AWS cloud setup, configuration, monitoring, storage, compute, permissions, deployment, or troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of IAM and S3 access control, least privilege, bucket security, and permission diagnosis
  • Experience with EC2 networking and connectivity troubleshooting, security groups, and instance roles
  • Understanding of Lambda, S3 event notifications, CloudWatch logging, deployment validation, and rollback decisions
  • Ability to design safe, realistic, reproducible AWS Console tasks
  • Clear English documentation and strong attention to detail

Schedule, Location, and Pay

This is an hourly remote contractor opportunity available across time zones. Contractors should be prepared to contribute 20 or more hours per week. The role is available in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan, and pays up to $25 per hour.

  • Employment type: Contractor and part time
  • Time requirement: 20+ hours per week
  • Work arrangement: Remote
  • Languages: English
  • Locations: Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan
  • Pay: Up to $25 per hour
