The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting an AutoCAD Mechanical Screenshot Data Contributor to support application-based data collection. You will use AutoCAD Mechanical on your own Windows PC and capture clear, high-resolution screenshots of the application interface while following the project's technical requirements.

This is remote contract work with a default commitment of 40 hours per week and a minimum time expectation of 20+ hours per week. The role is listed as entry level, but hands-on AutoCAD Mechanical experience is required.

What You'll Do

You will collect consistent, technically compliant screenshots from AutoCAD Mechanical. Careful execution matters because the images must meet the project's resolution and quality requirements.

  • Ensure captured images exceed 2.5 megapixels.

Requirements

You must have practical experience using AutoCAD Mechanical and be able to work with the required Windows setup. Your background should include familiarity with 2D mechanical drafting and detailing, engineering standards, mechanical design, manufacturing, or tooling workflows.

You will provide access to AutoCAD Mechanical on a Windows PC. Software licenses, virtual machines, and hardware are handled through standard OpenTrain project defaults. Your single-display or dual-monitor setup must be capable of producing screenshots above 2.5 megapixels.
