About AI Training And Design Evaluation

The Role

As an Architecture and Design Quality Assurance Lead, you will review AI-generated architecture and design content and trainer QA work across architecture, interior design, urban design, and related built-environment projects. The role combines design review, quality monitoring, written feedback, rubric alignment, documentation, onboarding support, and contributor coordination.

You will help keep remote expert teams active and aligned with project standards while identifying recurring or critical quality issues. The work is listed as entry level, while requiring advanced subject-matter expertise in architecture, interior design, urban design, or a closely related discipline.

What You'll Do

You will combine detailed visual and written review with clear communication, organized documentation, and ongoing support for trainers and quality reviewers.

• Review architecture and design explanations, spatial layouts, material recommendations, building system descriptions, accessibility considerations, and design reasoning for accuracy and practicality.
• Spot-check items for quality issues, provide ongoing feedback, and escalate recurring or critical problems.
• Communicate project updates, guidelines, workflow changes, and quality expectations to trainers and QAs.
• Respond to questions about spatial logic, design terminology, accessibility, sustainability, construction feasibility, materials, and rubric interpretation.
• Create and maintain style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, honeypots, calibration tasks, and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and run onboarding and training calls.
• Support quality alignment across remote expert teams.

Requirements And Qualifications

This position requires strong architecture, interior design, or urban design expertise, along with the ability to evaluate AI-generated design work against detailed rubrics. You should be able to explain design decisions clearly and provide precise written feedback in English.

Experience with AI training, data annotation, or large language model evaluation is a strong plus, but the core requirement is advanced built-environment knowledge and practical design-review judgment.

• Advanced experience in architecture, interior design, urban design, or a closely related built-environment discipline
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to provide clear written feedback
• Background in design review, construction documentation, teaching, design QA, visual review, or rubric-based review
• Ability to assess spatial logic, accessibility, sustainability, construction feasibility, materials, and code sensitivity
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, BIM, or construction drawings
• Comfort working with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems
• Strong attention to detail and organized documentation habits

Helpful Background

Experience leading or supporting remote teams can help you succeed in this coordination-focused quality role. Formal education in a related design or planning field is also helpful.

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, Industrial Design, Planning, or a related field
