The Role

OpenTrain is seeking an Applied Economics and Finance Benchmark Specialist to create and verify rigorous academic assessment content. You will develop and review multiple-choice questions across a broad range of economics and finance topics, with close attention to clarity, completeness, solvability, precision, and appropriate difficulty.

What You'll Do

• Author original multiple-choice questions in economics and finance

• Develop questions in experimental economics, urban economics, tokenomics, and decentralized finance
• Provide one correct answer and nine plausible alternatives for each question
• Rate difficulty from introductory undergraduate through advanced undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Write clear, concise, step-by-step solutions
• Support each question with one to five reputable academic references
• Verify existing questions for clarity, completeness, precision, and solvability
• Evaluate solution quality and document necessary edits

Required Qualifications

This opportunity is intended for specialists who can combine deep economics or finance knowledge with precise written communication. A PhD or doctoral candidacy is preferred, while a master's degree with exceptional depth in a relevant subdomain may also be considered.

You must be able to reason at a graduate level, identify subtle flaws in assessment content, and explain technical solutions accurately in excellent written English.
