The Role

OpenTrain is hiring an Angular AI Code Reviewer to evaluate AI-generated Angular code, front-end architectures, and technical explanations. You will write reference implementations and step-by-step reasoning, then rate and compare model responses for correctness, clarity, accessibility, security, and performance.

This role focuses on text-based model outputs (code snippets, explanations, and model answers) and combines hands-on Angular engineering with annotation and evaluation work.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-generated Angular code and technical explanations for quality and correctness.
• Write high-quality reference solutions and clear reasoning for complex frontend problems.
• Evaluate Angular patterns across change detection, RxJS streams, routing, forms, SSR, hydration, and bundle performance.
• Check accessibility, security, maintainability, and adherence to the prompt in model outputs.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.
• Create detailed Angular prompts and training content to support model improvement.

Requirements

• 4+ years of production Angular experience; Angular 12+ preferred.
• Strong TypeScript, Angular, RxJS, and frontend architecture knowledge.
• Deep familiarity with performance optimization, reactive UI patterns, and state management.
• Experience with routing, Reactive Forms, validation, SSR, hydration, testing, and accessibility.
• Proven code review judgement across correctness, accessibility, security, and maintainability.
• Ability to write clear technical explanations in English at a minimum C1 level.
• Detailed, methodical approach to debugging and quality assessment.
• Prior AI data training, annotation, or AI content evaluation experience is a strong plus.

Helpful Background

• Experience with Angular Universal and hydration.
• Familiarity with Jasmine/Karma, Jest, Angular Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• CI/CD, linting, and large-scale UI architecture experience.

Work Arrangement & Pay

This is remote contractor work, billed hourly. The role is part-time/contractor with a typical commitment of 20+ hours per week.

Compensation: USD $90 per hour (hourly pay). Multiple country variants are available; this listing is open to applicants in the listed countries below.
