The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking an AI Training Specialist in Product Management and Operations. You will define domain quality standards and author foundational logic for tools that generate product roadmaps, feature specifications, user story backlogs, and related product operations artifacts.
This is a contract position requiring deep product management expertise. You will create reference assets, build spreadsheet-based logic, and evaluate AI-generated outputs against professional B2B and B2C product management standards.
Remote engagement open worldwide

40 hours per week commitment
Listed time requirement of 20+ hours per week
Eight hours of overlap with Pacific Time required
Weekend on-call availability required
What You'll Do
You will turn product management frameworks and operational constraints into structured parameters and deterministic spreadsheet logic. The work combines product judgment, concise writing, scenario design, and careful evaluation of AI-generated materials.
Define discovery parameters and operational guardrails for AI tools building product roadmaps, feature specifications, and user story backlogs.
Build and validate reference product dashboards, RICE and MoSCoW scoring models, roadmap timelines, and Q&A triage boards in Google Sheets or Excel.
Design realistic product operations scenarios and validate domain context files, including PRDs, customer feedback logs, and release plans.
Review, score, and refine AI-generated product artifacts for alignment with professional B2B and B2C product management standards.
Translate feature scoring rules, triage logic, and roadmap constraints into deterministic spreadsheet formulas and structured parameters.
Required Qualifications
This role is suited to a product management or product operations professional who can combine practical domain knowledge with precise documentation and evaluation skills. The listing identifies the experience level as entry level while also requiring at least three years of relevant experience, so applicants should review that requirement carefully.
At least 3 years of experience in product management or product operations
Hands-on familiarity with RICE, MoSCoW, and Kano prioritization frameworks
Experience with roadmap planning and backlog grooming
Experience managing internal Q&A or feedback triage programs
Strong, concise professional writing skills
Ability to convert scoring rules and triage logic into spreadsheet formulas
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
English proficiency
Helpful Background
Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is helpful. Familiarity with this type of work can support the careful review and refinement of AI-generated product outputs.
