About This Role

OpenTrain is hiring an AI Quality Analyst to evaluate a conversational personalization feature in Vietnamese. You will test how well the model uses personal data from past conversations, Gmail, Search, and YouTube to produce relevant, helpful answers.

This is a contract, part-time role focused on Vietnamese-language evaluation. You will create realistic multi-turn prompts grounded in your own experience, compare model outputs, and explain your judgments in structured written rationales.

What You’ll Do

You will design, run, and evaluate short conversational scenarios that require the AI to incorporate personal context and factual grounding.

• Create creative, multi-turn prompts (1–5 turns) based on your personal context and experiences.
• Evaluate model responses for Grounding: check facts, sources, and avoid hallucinations.
• Assess Integration: confirm personal data is woven naturally and coherently into replies.
• Perform side-by-side (SxS) rankings to choose which of two responses is more helpful and enjoyable.
• Write clear, structured rationales that reference specific turns and explain your ranking decisions.
• Maintain strict data hygiene by deleting evaluation conversations after use.

Requirements

Candidates must meet these non-negotiable requirements to do this work successfully.

• Fluent Vietnamese reading and writing at a high level (required).
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail for nuanced personalization judgment.
• Ability to design multi-turn prompts using your own personal context.
• Experience with side-by-side response ranking and concise rationale writing.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Access to a reliable desktop or laptop and stable internet connection.

Helpful Background (Preferred)

The following qualifications are not required but make you a stronger candidate.

• BA/BS or equivalent experience in Policy, Law, Ethics, Linguistics, Journalism, Computer Science, or similar fields.
• Prior experience in data annotation, AI quality evaluation, or content moderation.

Pay, Schedule, and Duration

This is a paid contract role with defined hours and a fixed engagement length.

• Pay: $15.00 USD per hour.
• Commitment: at least 4 hours per day (20+ hours/week typical), up to 40 hours per week.
• Requires at least 4 hours overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) each workday.
• Duration: 3-month engagement.
• Location: Fully remote; open worldwide with required PST overlap.
