About AI Training Work
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback) is the human side of building intelligent systems. Contributors review and rate examples — like text prompts and model replies — so models learn correct, safe, and useful behavior.
This role is a great way to get hands-on experience in a fast-growing tech field: tasks are concrete, examples are provided, and your work directly affects how models respond.
- You’ll help teach models by labeling text for accuracy, relevance, clarity, and safety.
- Most projects are accessible to beginners; specialist work may pay more for expertise.
The Role
We’re hiring entry-level AI Quality Analysts to evaluate AI-generated text. You will review prompts and responses, apply labels based on provided guidelines, and help maintain high annotation standards through quality checks and audits.
This is a contract, part-time role that accepts contributors worldwide. Expected commitment is less than 20 hours per week.
- Job type: Contractor, Part-time.
- Workload: Less than 20 hours/week (flexible scheduling).
- Location: Remote — worldwide.
What You’ll Do
Your main tasks are to read prompts and AI responses, then assign labels and classifications according to clear, pre-defined guidelines and examples. Each response will be evaluated for multiple factors so models improve across dimensions.
- Label responses for accuracy, relevance, clarity, and safety.
- Perform classification and text-generation related annotation tasks.
- Follow examples and guidelines to ensure consistent labeling.
- Participate in periodic quality checks and random audits.
Requirements
Candidates should have basic English reading and writing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow labeling guidelines carefully. A stable internet connection is required, and contributors must meet assigned weekly targets.
Prior data-labeling experience is a plus but not mandatory — training and examples will be provided to help you get started.
