AI Prompt And Policy Specialist

As an AI Prompt and Policy Specialist, you will improve how AI systems work with tools, APIs, external services, and users. You will combine prompt writing, policy design, safety review, and response evaluation.

The work includes checking technical details such as API and JSON schemas, reviewing tool arguments, and using basic SQL to investigate data and system behavior. You will also document edge cases and recommend ways to improve AI workflows across multiple languages.

• Design, review, and refine prompts and structured instructions for tool-enabled AI systems.
• Read API and JSON schemas, check parameters, and verify tool behavior.
• Use basic SQL to validate data and investigate AI or tool issues.
• Create and maintain policies for AI interactions, content handling, and tool workflows.
• Evaluate responses for correctness, reasoning quality, safety, and policy compliance.
• Identify harmful, abusive, unsafe, or non-compliant content using content-filtering guidance.
• Test prompts and responses across multilingual contexts and document edge cases.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor assignment expected to last three months, with possible adjustment based on engagement. The compensation rate is not listed and is handled through the standard OpenTrain project defaults for this assignment.

• Hours: At least 4 hours per day and 20 hours per week.
• Schedule: At least 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Standard Time.
• Location: India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Brazil, or Mexico.
• Language: English.
• Experience: The listing is marked entry level, while the role description requests 3 to 6 years in AI operations, content review, quality assurance, product operations, policy, technical support, or a related field.
• Requirements: API and JSON literacy, basic SQL, prompt engineering or structured instruction writing, policy creation, clear writing, safety awareness, critical reasoning, and strong attention to detail.
• Additional knowledge: Tool-specific workflows, SaaS tools, external services, and multilingual contexts.
