The Role
OpenTrain is hiring an AI Prompt and Policy Specialist to improve how AI systems interact with tools, APIs, and users across multiple locales. You will combine technical fluency with policy judgment, careful evaluation, critical reasoning, and clear written communication.
The work focuses on text generation, function calling, and evaluation rating. You will help ensure that prompts, structured instructions, policies, parameters, and model responses work correctly and consistently.

What You’ll Do
You will design, review, and refine prompts and structured instructions for AI systems that interact with external services. Your evaluations will help improve prompt quality, policy compliance, tool workflows, and the reliability of AI behavior across languages and locales.
Interpret API and JSON schemas accurately.
Verify function arguments, parameters, and tool-call behavior.
Use basic SQL to validate data and investigate system behavior.
Create, document, and maintain policies for content handling, safety, and tool workflows.
Evaluate responses for correctness, parameter usage, critical reasoning, safety, and compliance.
Document edge cases, decision rationales, and recommendations.
Validate prompts and responses across languages and locales when needed.
Use evaluation findings to improve prompts, policies, and operational workflows.
Requirements
