The Role

OpenTrain is seeking an English-language AI Data Contributor to support a PDF Collection for AI Training project. You will source legally usable, publicly available PDF documents in English, verify relevant open-source or public-domain licensing requirements, and submit accurate information about each document.

This is a fully remote independent contractor position for candidates based in India. The project is expected to last under one month, with a flexible schedule and compensation of $10 per hour.

What You'll Do

You will help build a reliable collection of English-language documents for an AI training project. The work requires careful research, accurate licensing checks, and consistent recordkeeping.

• Source legally usable public PDF documents in English.
• Verify open-source or public-domain licensing requirements.
• Upload collected documents to the designated research platform.
• Provide basic descriptive information for each document.
• Follow project guidelines and maintain a high level of accuracy.

Requirements

This intermediate-level opportunity is intended for English language professionals who can communicate clearly, research publicly available content, and work independently. Relevant experience with legal documents is required, and prior annotation experience is an advantage.
