The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Video Content Data Labeling Associate to support household-task video labeling. You will review short first-person videos and apply detailed, consistent annotations to specific actions and object placements.

This role is suited to someone with strong visual discrimination, careful attention to detail, and the ability to stay focused during repetitive labeling work. The position pays $10-$12 per hour and requires 20 or more hours per week.

What You'll Do

You will inspect each video segment and record precise labels according to the project guidelines. Accuracy and consistency are essential, especially when identifying subtle changes between frames.

  • Review and annotate short first-person videos depicting household tasks.
  • Mark whether the hamper is to the left or right of the person in each video segment.
  • Identify the exact start and end frames for every pick-and-place movement.
  • Record which of seven numbered piles each clothing item is placed into.
  • Use playback controls, frame stepping, and timestamp-based web interfaces.
  • Follow detailed annotation guidelines consistently across videos.
  • Flag ambiguous, unclear, or unusual cases for review.

Requirements

The most important qualification is strong real-world knowledge of the subject area combined with careful, consistent execution. Prior AI-training experience is not required for this role.
