The role

As a Video Content Data Labeling Associate you'll review short first-person household-task videos and produce precise, consistent labels so AI systems can learn from structured human expertise and clear written feedback.

Work is part-time contracting (20+ hours/week), remote and worldwide. You will primarily perform frame-level classification and object-detection style annotations following detailed guidelines.

What you'll do

• Review and annotate short first-person POV videos depicting household tasks with precise, consistent labeling.
• Mark the hamper position as left or right of the person for each video segment.
• Tag the exact start and end frames for every pick-and-place movement.
• Record which of the seven numbered piles each clothing item is placed into.
• Follow detailed annotation guidelines carefully and keep labels consistent across videos.
• Flag ambiguous, unclear, or unusual cases for review and provide clear notes.

Requirements and skills

This is an entry-level role; prior AI training is not required. The job does require careful visual inspection, reliability, and the ability to follow written guidelines precisely.

• Strong visual discrimination and attention to subtle frame-level changes.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely and apply guidelines consistently.
• Comfort using web-based video tools (playback controls, frame stepping, timestamps).
• Strong focus and tolerance for repetitive, detail-oriented labeling work.
• Fluency in English and clear written communication.
• Reliability and ability to work independently as a remote contractor.
• Prior video annotation, data labeling, transcription, moderation, or QA experience is a plus.

Schedule, pay, and how to apply

Compensation: $10–$12 per hour (pay-per-hour). Time expectation: 20+ hours per week. Employment type: contractor, part-time. This role is open worldwide and is remote.
