About the role

Micro1 is hiring a remote Telecommunications AI Trainer (contractor, part-time) to provide expert evaluation and technical guidance for AI models working with telecom content. The position centers on reviewing AI-generated text, documenting telecommunication systems and protocols, and producing clear, actionable feedback that helps improve model behavior.

This is a cross-functional role that requires deep telecom domain knowledge, strong written communication, and comfort working on distributed teams.

What you’ll do

You will evaluate AI outputs, curate training inputs, and translate complex telecom topics into clear guidance for model development and dataset authors. Expect to collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to align training goals with real-world telecom requirements.

• Analyze telecommunications systems and protocols for AI training input
• Document and explain complex telecom concepts for model development

Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate substantive telecom expertise and strong communication skills. Micro1 emphasizes technical accuracy, clarity, and the ability to provide analytical evaluations that improve model outputs.

• Deep expertise in telecommunications, systems, protocols, and industry best practices
• Strong ability to explain technical material clearly for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with or training AI systems, or a clear willingness to learn AI integration in telecom
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical feedback skills for technical material
• Comfort working remotely in a cross-functional team
• Experience with documentation, report writing, or technical instruction in telecommunications

Helpful background (not required)

• Familiarity with machine learning, natural language processing, or AI-driven systems in the telecom sector
