About AI training work
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human input that teaches models to perform well. Contributors annotate, curate, validate, and structure data so models learn from high-quality examples.
This kind of work is often remote and flexible, a great fit for part-time schedules, and spans many specialties—from images and audio to code and model evaluation.
- 100% remote: work from anywhere with a computer and internet.
- Flexible hours: many projects let you choose your schedule.
- Impact: your SQL and data work directly improves ML training pipelines and model behavior.
The role — SQL Developer (OpenTrain)
OpenTrain is recruiting an experienced SQL Developer to contribute to AI data training initiatives. This part-time, remote contractor role focuses on designing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL systems that feed machine-learning workflows.
Workload: less than 20 hours per week. Compensation: the project lists hourly pay up to $60 USD (hourly range provided: $25–$60/hr). Employment type: contractor, part-time. Language: English.
