The role

OpenTrain AI is hiring a remote Software Engineer Code Reviewer focused on Go, Python, and TypeScript. This contract, part-time role asks for 20+ hours per week of focused work creating and evaluating code samples, unit tests, documentation, and prompt improvements to train and assess models.

What you'll do

You will produce and review code artifacts used to train and evaluate AI, and provide clear, actionable written feedback that guides model behavior and quality judgments.

• Write and refine Go, Python, and TypeScript code for AI training scenarios.
• Review sample code and technical materials with detailed written feedback.
• Generate code samples, unit tests, and documentation for model training use cases.
• Identify edge cases, best practices, and common pitfalls in software design.
• Improve prompts and queries used to evaluate AI-generated code outputs.
• Participate in collaborative technical reviews and written discussions.

Requirements

Candidates must have demonstrated ability in Go together with solid proficiency in Python and TypeScript, plus experience reviewing code for correctness, efficiency, and clarity. The role is listed as entry level but requires real project experience in Go as stated below.
