This work is remote, flexible, and impactful: your expertise directly improves how models analyze deals, flag risks, and suggest strategies for real-world investment scenarios.

The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Private Equity AI Trainer to help train next-generation models using hands-on private equity experience. This is a contractor, part-time role (20+ hours per week) that is remote and worldwide; work language: English.

You will work with document-based tasks (investment memos, case studies, financial models) and perform evaluation and text-generation labeling. Employment type: contractor, part-time. Labeling software: Other. The listed pay range is $30–$65 per hour (hourlyRate up to $65). The project is posted by Micro1 via OpenTrain.

  • Develop scenario-based content that reflects real private equity challenges and decision-making.
  • Assess AI-generated outputs for accuracy, commercial awareness, and industry relevance (evaluation/rating tasks).
  • Create and refine text-generation prompts and model responses that teach practical investment reasoning.

  • Deep knowledge of deal structuring, due diligence, valuation, and exit strategies.
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort interpreting complex financial data and models.

  • Track record of thought leadership or recognized expertise in private equity.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, self-directed environment.

Helpful Background

  • MBA, CFA, or similar advanced degree or certification.
