The role
OpenTrain is recruiting a Marketing Domain Expert to create high-quality AI training data focused on enterprise marketing workflows and business productivity scenarios. This is a contractor, part-time role (20+ hours/week) working remotely for OpenTrain.
Work includes writing authentic marketing materials, creating prompts and ideal AI responses, evaluating model outputs, and supporting documentation using Microsoft 365 tools.

What you'll do
You will build realistic training examples and evaluate AI outputs to help models assist enterprise marketing teams and support business productivity workflows.
- Develop training data centered on enterprise marketing workflows and business productivity scenarios.
- Write campaign plans, stakeholder communications, reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Review fictional company contexts and craft authentic user prompts plus ideal AI-generated responses.
- Assess AI output quality, accuracy, relevance, and usefulness and generate follow-up recommendations.
- Support content development and workflow documentation using Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, and SharePoint.
Requirements
You must be able to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly, and apply marketing domain knowledge to realistic business scenarios.
- Enterprise marketing operations, business writing, and content strategy experience.
- Strong analytical reasoning and careful attention to detail.
- Experience writing prompts for real business scenarios.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 document creation and project management tools.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Helpful background
These backgrounds make you especially competitive but are not strict requirements: product marketing, project management, knowledge management, or prior exposure to AI training and data annotation.
