Role Overview

OpenTrain is recruiting a Graphic Designer to produce and transform corporate documents and pitch decks used to train and evaluate AI systems.

This is a remote, contractor, part-time role requiring 20+ hours per week. Compensation is pay-per-hour at USD $20–$40/hour. Work is worldwide; English fluency is required.

What You'll Do

You will edit and redesign documents to create visually distinct, compliant, and polished deliverables while preserving the underlying message and content.

  • Edit and transform documents to produce visually consistent, brand-compliant layouts
  • Redesign pitch decks and presentations for clarity, polish, and visual impact
  • Use PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to reformat layouts, update color schemes, and apply branding guidelines
  • Collaborate with project teams to interpret requirements and deliver timely, high-quality results
  • Ensure deliverables meet corporate visual standards and project acceptance criteria
  • Stay current with presentation and pitch deck design best practices

Requirements

We need designers who can work independently in a fast-paced remote environment and deliver consistent, high-quality visual work on deadline.

  • Expert proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Demonstrated experience designing and transforming pitch decks, presentations, or corporate documents for major firms
  • Meticulous attention to visual detail, layout, and consistency
  • Ability to make impactful visual changes without altering underlying message or content
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interpret and clarify project requirements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines remotely
  • Experience working with branding guidelines and ensuring visual compliance
  • Experience level: Entry level (applicants with relevant portfolio or similar work history are encouraged to apply)

Helpful Background

The following experiences are advantageous but not strictly required: prior roles as a Presentation Specialist at top consultancies, pitch deck design experience for startups or VC, and familiarity with corporate/investor presentation trends.
