The role — what this contract is

OpenTrain is recruiting for a Business AI Data Specialist (contract, part-time) to produce and evaluate business content using Google Workspace tools. The work centers on Docs, Sheets, and Slides and focuses on improving AI-generated business outputs so models learn real-world standards for formatting, data organization, and reasoning.

Work type: Contractor, part-time. Time requirement: 20+ hours/week. Location: Worldwide, fully remote. Language: English. Data type: Text; label work includes text generation and evaluation/rating.

• Pay: $119–$168 per hour (USD), paid hourly

What you'll do day-to-day

• Create high-quality business documents and datasets in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides for AI training.
• Review and rate AI-generated business outputs against real-world standards and improvement criteria.
• Edit and improve document formatting, spreadsheet organization, and presentation structure to reflect best practices.
• Translate complex business scenarios into structured annotation tasks and examples for model training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep training data accurate, relevant, and secure.
• Prepare clear written feedback and occasional verbal summaries reporting findings and recommendations.
• Maintain data security and confidentiality throughout the project.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence or strategy consulting (required).
• Advanced degree and strong academic background in business (required).

• Proven ability to analyze and synthesize business processes efficiently.
• Comfort working independently and as part of a distributed remote team.
