About OpenTrain
OpenTrain is the #1 platform for building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help contributors discover projects, consolidate opportunities, and build a unified portfolio to grow a durable freelance career in this fast‑growing field.
Our community powers the human work behind AI: high-quality annotations, review, and feedback that teach models how to read, reason, and generate better outputs.
About AI training work
AI training is the human side of building intelligent systems: people prepare examples, rate outputs, and refine content so models learn reliably. This work is often remote and flexible, and contributors influence how real-world AI systems behave—especially in specialized domains like finance.
For this project you will help models understand financial language and documents in Korean by creating and validating accurate, well‑formatted financial materials.
The role
OpenTrain is recruiting for a Financial Documents Specialist (Korean) to create, review, and annotate financial documents that train AI systems. You will produce and validate Korean financial reports, statements, and presentations and provide expert feedback to improve AI outputs.
This is a part‑time contractor role with a minimum of 20 hours/week and is open to applicants located in the United States (remote). Work will involve both text generation tasks and evaluation/rating of AI outputs for accuracy and compliance.
What you'll do
- Generate, review, and refine financial documents in Korean, including reports, presentations, and formatted tables.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to create and format complex financial data and presentations.
- Assess documents for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with financial standards and best practices.
- Annotate and rate AI‑generated text to improve model understanding and output quality (text generation + evaluation/rating).
- Provide clear, actionable feedback and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in written and verbal form.
Requirements
You must meet the following minimum qualifications to be considered for this role.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Native‑level proficiency in Korean with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience producing or managing financial documents.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for financial data handling and presentation.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality documentation standards.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience at a Fortune 500 company.
- Located in the United States with an understanding of both US and Korean business cultures.
- Familiarity with AI training or an interest in machine learning applications for finance.
Logistics, pay, and commitment
Employment type: Contractor, part‑time. Time requirement: 20+ hours per week. Candidates must be located in the United States.
Compensation: Paid per hour in USD. Hourly range: $10–$55/hr, with top rate $55/hr for qualified specialists. Tasks focus on document data (DOCUMENT) and use custom labeling software (OTHER).
- Labeling tasks include text generation and evaluation/rating.
- Work is remote; schedule flexibility is expected within the 20+ hours/week guideline.
