The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a remote Finance Data Reviewer for a contract with OpenTrain. You will provide finance domain input to guide model training and evaluation, create and improve finance documentation, and prepare financial scenarios and reports in Google Workspace.

This is a contractor, part-time role requiring at least 20 hours per week. The position supports text-based data work including evaluation ratings and text generation tasks.

What You'll Do

You will review, critique, and generate finance-related content and datasets to support AI model training and evaluation. Work is performed primarily inside Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets and emphasizes accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

• Provide finance domain input to guide model training and evaluation.
• Review, critique, and generate finance content in Google Workspace.
• Create, validate, and improve finance data and documentation.
• Prepare accurate financial scenarios, reports, and analyses in Docs, Slides, and Spreadsheets.
• Suggest process improvements to strengthen data accuracy and consistency.
• Communicate complex financial concepts clearly for different audiences.

Requirements

The client requires demonstrated finance experience, strong analytical and reporting skills, and expert-level Google Workspace proficiency. You must be able to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and produce careful, high-quality outputs.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance-related positions.
• Analytical and reporting expertise and a strong educational background in finance or a related field.
• Expert-level proficiency with Google Docs, Slides, and Spreadsheets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet strict deadlines.
• High attention to detail and adaptability in an evolving AI training context.

Helpful Background

Candidates who use Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs daily for finance reporting will be comfortable in this role. Experience creating finance reports, analyses, or similar documentation and familiarity working remotely on project teams is useful but not required beyond the listed requirements.

Compensation & How to Apply

Pay is hourly, USD $63–$119 per hour depending on experience and project needs. This is a remote, worldwide role (English required).
