The role

OpenTrain is recruiting a remote Finance AI Reviewer to assess and improve AI-generated finance content with a specific emphasis on Private Equity and Investment Banking. This is a contract, part-time role requiring a minimum commitment of 20+ hours per week.

Work is worldwide and conducted in English. Compensation is hourly: $30–$65 USD per hour, paid on a contractor basis.

What you'll do

You will apply your finance expertise to evaluate AI outputs, refine training data, and help teams understand domain nuance. Tasks emphasize accuracy, clarity, and industry-aligned recommendations.

• Review finance-related content focused on Private Equity and Investment Banking.
• Evaluate and refine financial models, reports, and documents for accuracy and relevance.
• Assess AI-generated outputs for correctness, clarity, and alignment with industry standards.
• Provide constructive recommendations to improve AI training quality and domain nuance.
• Communicate complex financial ideas clearly with technical teams.
• Maintain data integrity and apply professional judgment when handling sensitive information.

Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate deep finance expertise and proven experience working with complex financial materials. Prior AI experience is helpful but not required.

• Deep expertise in finance, especially Private Equity and/or Investment Banking.
• Experience reviewing, editing, or creating complex financial materials and financial models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage deadlines.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and reporting best practices.

Helpful background

The following qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory; they help you contribute more quickly and may be favored by project teams.

• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• CFA, CPA, or similar credentials.
• Prior experience contributing to AI, data annotation, or technology-driven finance projects.

How it works & compensation
