The role
OpenTrain is recruiting for a contractor Business Systems AI Trainer to evaluate business workflows, CRM and project management tools, SaaS platforms, and process automation systems. This is a part-time, contract role requiring 20+ hours/week and is open worldwide. English fluency is required.
Work is task-based and focuses on producing clear, actionable feedback, evaluation ratings, and text data that will be used to train and improve AI models.
What you'll do
- Evaluate and test real-world business workflows, systems, and processes using your operational experience.
- Assess project management, CRM, productivity, SaaS, and automation tools for usability and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and workflow optimization and document those recommendations.
- Analyze business data to inform assessments of tool performance and user experience.
- Produce clear written findings and structured evaluation ratings for AI training datasets.
- Contribute labeled text and evaluation judgments (data collection + evaluation_rating) used to train models.
Requirements
- Active experience operating a business with hands-on involvement in business systems and workflows.
- Deep expertise in business operations, project management, and workflow optimization.
- Extensive, practical use and evaluation of CRM systems, SaaS tools, and process automation platforms.
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to draw actionable insights from business data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to document findings clearly.
- Access to real operational workflows and data for authentic testing and feedback.
Helpful background (not required)
- Experience advising on or leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Background in SaaS implementation, business system integration, or platform migrations.
- Familiarity with emerging trends in AI, automation, and digital productivity tools.
Logistics, pay & deliverables
This is a remote contractor, part-time engagement requiring at least 20 hours per week. The role is open worldwide and requires English fluency.
