Why AI training matters

AI training (data labeling/annotation) is the human side of building intelligent systems: people create, review, and rate examples that teach models to perform real tasks. This work is remote-friendly, flexible, and a direct way to influence how cutting-edge AI helps business users.

As a Business Document Expert you will help ensure AI-generated spreadsheets, presentations, and reports are accurate, professional, and relevant to real professional workflows.

The role

You will evaluate and improve AI-driven productivity tools by reviewing AI-generated business documents in Korean and English. This fully remote contract role requires applying business judgment and advanced Office Suite skills to ensure outputs meet high professional standards.

This position is part-time (contractor) with a commitment of 20+ hours per week and work performed remotely (ideally based in the US).

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with AI systems to execute sophisticated business tasks using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Evaluate, critique, and provide structured feedback on AI-generated deliverables across finance, strategy, marketing, and operations.
  • Design and test realistic business scenarios that mirror professional workflows including analysis, presentations, and reporting.
  • Review AI outputs for precision, business relevance, and adherence to Fortune 500 or consulting-level quality standards.
  • Communicate actionable insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams to drive continuous AI improvement.
  • Annotate, document, and escalate recurring issues to ensure AI systems meet business user needs consistently.
  • Champion quality, structure, and clarity in all deliverables, bridging business expertise and AI innovation.

Requirements

You must meet all required qualifications below; we will not invent or relax these requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in business functions such as strategy, finance, marketing, operations, sales, or HR.
  • Proven mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for creating polished, professional business deliverables.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English.
  • Acute attention to detail and the ability to critically assess and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) or eagerness to learn quickly.
  • Self-starter who thrives working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Helpful background

The following are advantages but not strict requirements: experience at a Fortune 500 company, top-tier consulting firm, or leading financial institution; background in AI evaluation, prompt engineering, or document automation tools; an MBA or advanced degree; experience mentoring or providing structured feedback on business deliverables.

Compensation, schedule, and logistics

Pay structure: paid per hour (PAY_PER_HOUR). Hourly pay range: $30–$70 USD per hour.

Time commitment: 20+ hours per week. Employment type: contractor, part-time. Work location: remote (ideally based in the US).

Work involves evaluating documents (data type: DOCUMENT) and providing evaluation ratings (label type: EVALUATION_RATING) using the project's annotation tools ().
