The role
We are recruiting a Business Document Expert fluent in Japanese to evaluate and enhance AI-generated business documents and productivity tool outputs. This is a contract, part-time role supporting AI evaluation and RLHF-style feedback for document-focused workflows.
- Schedule: 20+ hours/week (part-time, flexible)
- Pay: $30–$70 USD per hour (contractor)

- Location: Remote; ideally based in the US
What you'll do
Work directly with AI-generated deliverables to ensure clarity, accuracy, and business readiness across finance, strategy, marketing, and operations.
- Evaluate and critique AI outputs in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for structure, logic, and professional polish.
- Design and test realistic business scenarios that reflect current workflows (analysis, reports, presentations, proposals).
- Provide structured, actionable feedback and ratings (evaluation/RLHF) to improve AI performance.
- Annotate and document recurring issues and escalate systemic problems to cross-functional teams.
- Champion Fortune 500 or consulting-level quality standards for precision and relevance.
Requirements
You must meet all listed requirements to be considered for this specialist evaluation role.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (required).
- 3+ years professional experience in business functions such as strategy, finance, marketing, operations, sales, or HR.
- Proven mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for polished business deliverables.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Acute attention to detail and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback.
- Self-starter who thrives working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Japanese; professional English required.
Helpful background (not required)
The following experiences make you especially competitive but are optional.
- Experience at a Fortune 500 company, top-tier consulting firm, or major financial institution.
- Background in AI evaluation, prompt engineering, or document automation tools.
- MBA or advanced degree and prior experience mentoring or reviewing business deliverables.
- Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) or eagerness to learn quickly.
How the work is done
This project focuses on document evaluation (WORD/EXCEL/PPT) and uses evaluation-rating and RLHF-style labeling workflows. Labeling software is listed as OTHER; you will receive project-specific instructions, examples, and scoring rubrics.
As a contractor you will submit ratings, comments, and structured annotations that directly improve AI models used for business productivity tasks.
