OpenTrain is the #1 platform for building careers in AI training and data labeling. We connect domain experts with projects that teach AI systems how to read, reason, and act — and we help freelancers build a consolidated, portable portfolio of annotation work.
For this role you will be contracted by OpenTrain AI to contribute specialist biochemistry knowledge to model training workflows, review cycles, and dataset development.
Why AI Training in Biochemistry Matters
AI systems learn from examples prepared and reviewed by people. In the life sciences, accurate annotations and expert feedback are critical: they help models understand experimental methods, biochemical mechanisms, literature claims, and safety-sensitive detail.
Contributors to AI training get flexible, remote work and play a direct role in shaping how scientific models reason and communicate.
Work remotely and flexibly — suitable for part-time or portfolio careers.
Apply domain expertise where it has immediate impact on model quality and safety.
The Role
As a Biochemistry AI Training Expert you will review biochemical datasets, research findings, and experimental protocols, providing expert annotation, validation, and actionable feedback that improves model reasoning and outputs.
This role includes content development (use cases, prompts, and scenarios), evaluation of model-generated scientific text for validity and clarity, and iterative review to close knowledge gaps and address edge cases.
Data type: Documents (biochemical literature, protocols, lab reports).
Labeling tasks: Evaluation/rating and data collection style review.
This is a contracting role with OpenTrain AI. Work is remote and asynchronous; many contributors set schedules that fit their lives while meeting project deadlines.
Expect iterative assignments and review cycles: tasks include rating outputs, annotating documents, drafting scenarios, and returning structured feedback. You will be evaluated on accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
To apply, create an OpenTrain account (free), complete your profile with relevant biochemistry experience, and submit an application for this role. Qualified applicants may be asked to complete a short assessment or sample review.
