Freelancer Overview

I bring more than seventeen years of experience across hospitality leadership, venue operations, and beverage program direction, most recently as Director of Beverage for The Hub Group. While my background is not traditional in the AI or technology sector, the core of my work has always been about translating complex systems into simple, usable actions for people in real time—whether that’s training teams, leading service, or helping venues operate at a consistently high standard. Across my career I’ve led teams in fast-paced environments, developed and delivered training programs, and spent the majority of my time in roles that require strong communication, presence, and the ability to adapt quickly to different audiences. A large part of my work has involved standing in front of groups—sometimes small teams, sometimes large rooms—and making information accessible, practical, and engaging enough that it actually changes behaviour. In parallel, I’ve developed a strong and growing interest in artificial intelligence and its practical application. I use AI tools regularly in both professional and personal contexts, and I’m particularly interested in how they can be used to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, and support better communication. What stands out to me most is not just the capability of the tools themselves, but the challenge of adoption—helping people move from curiosity or scepticism into confident, consistent use.
