During my contract with the Gandaki Province Academy of Science and Technology, I conducted systematic archival research across 15 years of newspaper records to identify and document instances of mushroom poisoning, organizing photographic evidence into structured folder systems for research use. Beyond this, I have hands-on transcription and translation experience gained through supporting graduate students with their thesis research, converting spoken and written content across languages with accuracy and contextual sensitivity. Together, these experiences reflect a strong foundation in the core competencies of data labeling work: precise categorization, structured documentation, and faithful rendering of source material. As an economics undergraduate in Kathmandu with quantitative research skills in Stata and R, I bring both analytical rigor and authentic ground-level context from Nepal, a perspective that is systematically underrepresented in AI training datasets.
