I completed an entry-level data annotation project focused on building foundational skills in both text and image labeling. For text data, I performed sentiment classification, intent categorization, and Named Entity Recognition (NER) on short documents by tagging names, locations, and organizations. For image data, I practiced applying bounding boxes to identify everyday objects and classify images into predefined categories. The project included reviewing and correcting annotations for consistency, following detailed guidelines, and meeting quality expectations through self-checks and iterative refinements. This hands-on practice strengthened my understanding of annotation workflows, quality control, and guideline interpretation.
