I am a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Specialist with experience managing large datasets, conducting data quality assessments, validating information, and supporting evidence-based decision-making in humanitarian and development programs. My professional background includes digital data collection, data cleaning, data verification, reporting, and performance monitoring using tools such as KoboToolbox, ODK, Excel, SPSS, and Power BI. Through my work with humanitarian and resilience projects across Northwest Nigeria, I have developed strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow complex guidelines while maintaining high levels of accuracy. I am interested in applying these skills to AI training and data annotation projects, where data quality, consistency, and adherence to project requirements are essential for successful outcomes. Data Labeling/AI Training Experience While I have not yet worked on formal AI data labeling or annotation projects, I have extensive experience working with structured and unstructured datasets in monitoring and evaluation roles. My responsibilities have included data validation, quality assurance checks, cleaning survey data, reviewing records for accuracy and completeness, identifying inconsistencies, and ensuring compliance with data collection protocols. I have supported large-scale humanitarian assessments, beneficiary databases, indicator tracking systems, and digital data collection processes using KoboToolbox and ODK. These experiences have strengthened my ability to review information carefully, apply detailed guidelines, maintain consistency, and work with large volumes of data, skills that are directly relevant to data annotation, content evaluation, and AI training projects.
