Dental Intern - Faculty of Dentistry
As a Dental Intern, you rotate through multiple clinical specialties to gain structured exposure to the full spectrum of intraoral pathology. You assess radiographic and photographic clinical records to support accurate differential diagnosis and consistent pathology classification. You develop inter-rater reliability by aligning your findings with attending clinicians under specialist supervision. • Rotations across oral surgery, periodontology, restorative dentistry, fixed prosthodontics, oral medicine, and radiology • Systematic evaluation of caries, periapical lesions, crestal bone loss, furcation involvement, soft tissue anomalies, and failing restorations • Structured case documentation with emphasis on grading and reproducibility • Supervised clinical reasoning to align diagnostic conclusions across disciplines
