For the past few months I have been doing data annotation work for an AI system focused on crypto trading. Essentially I was reviewing outputs, labeling responses, and providing structured feedback on whether the AI's analysis was accurate, useful, or needed correction. It involved a lot of careful reading, applying consistent judgment across many examples, and flagging things that were off in a clear, documented way. It was not a formal research role but it gave me real hands-on experience with how AI systems are evaluated and improved through human feedback. I got comfortable working with rubrics, understanding what good output looks like versus what needs refinement, and communicating that feedback in a structured way. It is the kind of work that teaches you to think carefully and consistently, which I actually found genuinely interesting.
