Machine Learning Intern (Indian Air Force 9BRD, Pune) - thermal-imaging ML pipeline for automated PCB fault detection
Developed and integrated a thermal-imaging based ML fault-detection pipeline to support automated identification of PCB failures in aerospace electronics. Used real-time inference to flag overheating components and short-circuit patterns, reducing reliance on manual inspection workflows. Ensured the monitoring backend and dashboard outputs were suitable for mission-critical diagnostic review by engineering teams. • Combined thermal camera inputs with embedded controller readings as model features for failure-pattern recognition. • Implemented inference workflow across mission-critical defense hardware for timely diagnostics. • Built and maintained a secure backend plus monitoring dashboard to operationalize model outputs. • Reduced diagnostic turnaround time by automating failure flagging and reporting.
