Freelancer Overview

During my internship at HDR, we trained a YOLO model on extracting data From construction engineering drawings as well as developed a VLM + rule based OCR model and compared the two in terms of accuracy. We labeled data and created a train/validation/test sets for in and out sample evaluation and comparing the two approaches.
