CT-Defined Pectoralis Muscle Density Predicts 30-Day Mortality in Hospitalized Patients with COVID-19: A Nationwide Multicenter Study
I contributed to a CT-based muscle segmentation project within the RACOON research framework, focusing on quantitative assessment of pectoralis muscle parameters in hospitalized patients with COVID-19. The project involved structured segmentation of thoracic CT datasets and supported body-composition analysis as an imaging biomarker approach. This work contributed to the publication “CT-Defined Pectoralis Muscle Density Predicts 30-Day Mortality in Hospitalized Patients with COVID-19: A Nationwide Multicenter Study,” published in Academic Radiology in 2024.
